Description: El Ombú de Areco, an historical estancia (ranch) just over an hour's drive from downtown Buenos Aires, is located in San Antonio de Areco, birthplace of the gaucho tradition. The One-day Visit gives guests the chance to immerse themselves as much as they wish in the life of a working estancia, dedicated mainly to raising Hereford and Aberdeen Angus Stock. Guests are welcome to observe and take part in the various stock-rearing activities as they happen on the ranch: milking, driving cattle to harness, vaccination, ear-tagging, de-horning, branding, etc. Guests can explore the 300-hectare (ca 750 acre) estancia on foot or, accompanied by seasoned gauchos, on one of the 38 horses that are part of the working drove. Horse drawn carriages are also available. Those that want to learn some of the thousand species of Argentinean birds are provided binoculars and guide books.

On the way to Tigre , 37 km away from Buenos Aires, we will Visit the residential suburbs of the north of the city. Beginning by Libertador Avenue we will pass by the Presidential House in Olivos . Here we will transfer to Tren de la Costa, from where we will apreciate the luxurious residences and mansions on the ravines in front of the La Plata River . We will get off the train at San Isidro, one of the places where the romanticism of history is still alive.
Arriving to Tigre, we will take a catamaran “Interisleña “, from where we will have a view of the Delta of the Parana River, an area of 25.000 km2 of subtropical jungle made up of thousands of small islands.

This fair was born 20 years ago in the area where the old slaughterhouses of the city were located, and is today the meeting point for people from the interior of our country who are deeply-rooted to their costumes of their provinces and for those who, living in this city, like to spend a while surrounded of handcrafts, typical foods and folkloric music and dances. Also, the neighborhood was declared, in year 91, as “neighborhood of the Argentinean Gaucho”.

Description: Ideal for those who want to enter deeply in the Tango´s World, by acquiring the basic concepts of this dance, and experiencing a traditional Milonga. .: ITINERARY: 12:00 Hs - Tango lesson in Confitería La Ideal - Visit to Museo Mundial de Tango - Coffee at Café Tortoni (Av. de Mayo) (Traditional chocolate with churros). Option Special: We meet outside the Confitería La Ideal (Suipacha 384) where we´ll start with a tango class meanwhile we learn the secrets of an authentical milonga. And then in the afternoon you will be accompanied during the milonga (social dancing) by one of the famous dancers.
